Info: Layers

The Layers Info pane allows you to manage complex documents by grouping graphics into layers which can be individually reordered, hidden or locked. New documents only contain a single layer, and additional layers can be added by clicking the + button below the list. New graphics you create will be added to whichever layer is selected in the list. The list in the Layers pane has four columns: When checked, the layer's graphics will be visible in the document window. When checked, the layer's graphics will be visible in printed output. When checked, the all graphics in the layer can't be moved, resized, or otherwise edited. Name A name for the layer; double-click to edit. Move Selected Graphics to Layer - Select some graphics, then click this button to move those graphics into whichever layer is selected in the list. Select All Graphics in Layer - Select a layer in the list, then click this button to select all graphics in that layer.
